Valve has released a major themed update following the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, and the highlight isn’t bug fixes, but a digital memory of the tournament. The new capsule with autographs from Team Vitality and unique souvenir drops from the playoffs are not just cosmetics, but a part of CS history that can now be carried in your inventory.
This is the first time souvenirs in CS2 are so closely tied to real tournament moments—both in-game and behind the scenes. This makes the drops not just collectible items, but symbols of specific emotions, highlights, and context that fans won’t forget.
Key Highlights from the Update
With the update, CS2 introduced the Champions Autographs capsule, featuring only the autographs of Team Vitality players—the winners of BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. This is the second championship autograph pack for ropz, apEX, and ZywOo—they previously received similar capsules after PGL Antwerp 2022 for ropz and BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 for apEX and ZywOo.
The capsule features four sticker variants for each member of the championship roster: base, holographic, metallic, and gold. Unlike team capsules from the tournament stages, this set is exclusively dedicated to the champions and allows fans to support them specifically.
More intriguing is the new Highlight Souvenir Packages. These souvenirs drop for playoff matches and contain not just map-themed designs, but visual and narrative clips of key Major moments—frags, clutches, emotions, even audience reactions.
The update also introduced voice chat during the pick and ban phase in Premier mode, allowing players to coordinate map choices more effectively. This is a small but significant improvement for those playing as a team and taking rankings seriously.
